I have been negligent, again. Sorry.
Over the past two weeks Brent has had a CT Scan with a drain placed, an Upper GI, and, today, a colonoscopy. Geesh. We are tired of Dr. appointments and procedures.
The Colonoscopy today showed no Crohn's. That is good. :)
Still not sure why he can't eat. All of the tests show no blockages.
We are now inching the drain out over the next 4 days. Woo-hoo.
He is still on two IV antibiotics, and totally dependent on TPN nutrition.
Luckily, Brent has been able to go in to work most days, and work several hours.
We were fortunate to be able to go to Dennis & Jan's cabin above Zion's last weekend. Just Brent, David and I. It was peaceful, except for the fighting hummingbirds, and the chipmunk and bird fights over the bird feeders. It's quite entertaining to watch actually. Did a little fishing at Kolob reservoir, read books, watched movies, and enjoyed not being in Provo.

The purpose of starting this blog was to have an easy way for friends and relatives to keep up-to-date with Brent's condition. The last time he had surgery I spent so much time e-mailing and texting and calling everyone that I couldn't keep it all straight. Now, if you want to read the updates you can, and if you don't want to, then don't. :)
