Well, it looks like we’re headed home today. They said if he didn’t have any fevers through the night last night that he could go home. He did have a fever so we figured he wouldn’t be going home. Ultimately it was left up to us. Say what? Ok. Well we requested a chest X-ray before we leave. It showed no change, but at least it wasn’t worse. We decided with a storm coming, and the fact that we can administer IV antibiotics at home, that we would go home. Please pray that all goes well and that we can have peace. We get a little (a lot) freaked out since the July episode. We still have no answers as to what Brent is fighting. I mean, it’s pneumonia, but they can’t figure out what kind of bug is causing it. The IV antibiotic that he will go home on is a pretty broad spectrum heavy duty one.

Of course he needs rest. But he is also bored. Shoot me a text if you want to visit. Please be smart though and stay away if you have been or are sick. Even if it’s just a cold or a tickle in your throat. When you have no immune system every germ is exaggerated by a million. A sniffle to you could be ICU to Brent. Thanks.
