Well, that was unexpected . . .

Went up for an appointment with Dr. Price this afternoon, and came home without a drain. Yikes. He gave us a few options. All I said was, it better not interfere with Girl's Camp. (Because it's all about me.) :)

The options were to inch the drain out over the next few weeks, leave it in until July, or just take it out. Because we are both the youngest child in our families, we do not have the capability to make decisions . . . so, he ended up deciding for us. He said it was best to just pull it out and hope it heals. We laughed. Brent does not tend to "heal" as one should heal. He was worried that leaving it in any longer would create more problems.

Sooo, asking for lots of prayers right now. Pray that he heals. Pray that he does not form another abscess. Pray that all goes well and that he can go to Girls Camp with me so I can keep an eye on him and he can keep an eye on our 'stuff' when we leave camp for hikes or whatever. He's going to be one of our Priesthood men that are there with us. We will take our trailer so that he will have everything he needs.
