Sitting in the ER at UVRMC waiting for answers isnt a lot of fun at 2 am. But you probably already know that. Brent woke up at midnight in excruciating pain. This is a new pain. We are thinking kidney stones. He has finally been given pain meds and is relaxing. They did a CT and we are waiting for results on that. We are hoping it is that and not some other problem. Brent knows all of the different pains associated with crohns and ruptures and this is extreme but different. Hopefully we will know soon. Have i ever mentioned that i hate hospitals and their time system? Hospital time is different than normal time. "in a few minutes" actually means hours. Ugh. Will update when we know what is going on.
Sorry, it would seem i fell asleep. Go figure. CT scan showed a nice kidney stone. We were able to leave the ER at about 3:30, heavily medicated, him, not me unfortunately. Hopefully this passes soon. I am supposed to fly to Texas next week.

The last time he had surgery I spent so much time e-mailing and texting and calling everyone that I couldn't keep it all straight.
