Well, Brent has been going down hill again and it got to the point where we were going to head to the E.R. this morning after my job interview. The Dr. finally called back right before my interview and told Brent to go get blood work done, stat. The Hct was back down to 17 (supposed to be 40 in a normal person). He has now spent the rest of the day at UVRMC getting 3 units of blood.
I wish that we could find a dr that is more available, and that gets messages in a timely manner. He still doesn't get the fact that when we call, it is important, and that Brent's condition deteriorates very quickly. At least we didn't have to go to the E.R. again.
We've got to find answers as to why he keeps bottoming out. This is just crazy.
My interview went well, but I didn't get the job. Oh well.

The purpose of starting this blog was to have an easy way for friends and relatives to keep up-to-date with Brent's condition. The last time he had surgery I spent so much time e-mailing and texting and calling everyone that I couldn't keep it all straight.
