They took Brent back a while ago, and the surgeon came out to reassure us. They should be starting soon. It was a sleepless night, as they moved us to the cardiology tower at 10:30 pm to prepare him for surgery. There is a lot more to do for open heart surgery than there is for all of his other surgeries. Anyway, here's hoping for a quiet, smooth surgery with no surprises.
