Well, not a whole lot going on. Today Brent was in a lot of pain where the drain is. Not sure why it was so painful today. This newly opened fistula is draining a lot. Dr. Price is happy about that because he thinks if all the drainage comes out the fistula, then the abscesses will close up.
The white count was down today so that was good. Hopefully it stays down. He had a couple of fever throughout the night. Hopefully with the fistula literally exploding, the infection can calm down. Hopefully. There's that 'hope' word again. Funny how that word keeps popping up.
Anyway, that's about all there is to report. No idea when he will come home. If you want to visit, just let me know.
Sooooo very grateful for a good friend who keeps providing dinner for David and I. There's not a lot that anyone can do for us, but that is one thing that just makes me really thankful. Thanks.
