With gratitude in our hearts we are so thankful for the phone call we just got. Brent is out of surgery and awake. He is intubated. Dr Caine said he is in the ICU and that all went well with only a few complications. Brent has switched from having a pig valve to now having a cow valve. There was a lot of scar tissue to work through. There was still vegetation on the valve so it is a good thing we didn’t wait. The first heart attack did no damage to the heart muscle but who knows what another dislodged piece could have done.

Our hearts are so full of gratitude. For so many things and so many people. Now we wait and pray for a complication free recovery. There are still no visitors allowed so we pray he will get the care he needs.
